Parish Council Meeting to Discuss the District Council's Local Plan 2040

The Parish Council is holding a meeting at 11am on Saturday 30th December at THE CHURCH HALL HOMEDEAN ROAD CHIPSTEAD to discuss it’s response to the Local Plan proposals from Sevenoaks District Council
As you should be aware there are 2 areas of Green Belt within the Parish which are under threat from the proposalsH028 Land between Back Lane and the A21 Bessels Green and MX13 Land at Moat Farm off Homedean Road
All Parishioners who are concerned about the proposals are welcome to attend and please encourage everyone who is concerned to respond to the consultation both in advance of the meeting and critically before the deadline of 11TH January
This is not an occasion where thinking someone else will respond and therefore you don’t need to or that the Parish Council’s opinion counts for the Parish as a whole bears any weight.

THIS WE BELIEVE IS THE ONLY OPTION WHICH BOTH MEETS THE HOUSING NEED AND RULES OUT THE TWO DEVELOPMENTS IN THE PARISH
Perhaps a comment such as “I think option 2 is the only one which provides the supporting infrastructure to fulfil the housing need and not put further increased strain on existing infrastructure in areas which are already under immense pressure”
